Two out of three ain't bad for history-seeking Henderson
Trainer so close to pulling off unprecedented festival treble
Ultimately a Cheltenham Festival more glass half-full than half-empty for Lambourn and probably still overflowing for the jubilant Warren Greatrex after Missed Approach's game victory in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Handicap Chase.
It was a result Greatrex would have no doubt settled for prior to the biggest week of his season, and one in which he fielded the well-regarded Western Ryder and La Bague Au Roi, who were far from disgraced and will likely have their days in the sun.
Champion trainer Nicky Henderson also did his bit to repel the Irish invasion, capturing a record-extending seventh Unibet Champion Hurdle with Buveur D'Air and the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase with Altior, who followed up their victories at the meeting 12 months ago.
