Trainers Ben Pauling and Harry Whittington are on this week's panel
Jockeys Robbie Power and Richie McLernon also look to Punchestown and beyond
Will you place your faith in Douvan in Tuesday’s BoyleSports Champion Chase?
Richie McLernon, jockey He was travelling easily and jumping brilliantly at Cheltenham before he came down and Patrick Mullins seemed to be very happy with him. You’ve got to respect Un De Sceaux and Min but going back to his old form Douvan would be the one to beat. The stable know him best and if they’re happy that would be good enough for me.
Ben Pauling, trainer I will because I was most impressed with him at Cheltenham. He looked as if he was running well within himself until he fell. It’s unfortunate as it would have been a very good race otherwise. Willie Mullins holds all the cards in this race with Min and Un De Sceaux also in there, but if Douvan is half the horse he was, he should do it.
Robbie Power, jockey I definitely will. He was travelling well in front when he departed four out at Cheltenham. I thought he was displaying plenty of his old sparkle up to that point. If the fall has left no mark, he’ll take all the beating.
