Armagh point-to-point is one of the true traditional meetings with a proud history at its long-standing course at Farmacaffley, which has hosted the fixture for more than 100 years.

Such is its presence in the local area that it is one of the few but increasing number of point-to-point courses listed on Google Maps. It would be great to some day see all point-to-point courses on there as it would inevitably drive awareness levels.

The Farmacaffley track is notably tough, but viewing is excellent and it is unique in so far as the event requires the closure of the road connecting the Keady Road with Newtownhamilton Road, allowing the runners to cross twice on each circuit.
