'To come from where he did off a strong gallop was top-notch'

So, who wins the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe?

David Egan, jockey Adayar for me. I think he’s got the best form in the race. His form ties with Hurricane Lane from the Derby and he beat Mishriff, who subsequently demolished the Juddmonte field. He looks the complete package and stays the trip well. He isn’t ground dependent and I think he’s the perfect Arc horse.

John Fahy, jockey It has to be Adayar. He's the first horse since Galileo to win the Derby and King George in the same year. Even with the weight allowance for the fillies, it has to be Adayar all day.

Jamie McBride, William Hill If it is taken as read that Adayar is over his recent injury and has had a relatively smooth preparation, then he is the most likely winner. His King George win is the best form on offer but I do also have a healthy respect for Chrono Genesis, and she is arguably overpriced at around 10-1.
