What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Don’t sweat it when your best-laid plans don’t work out. My life could have been very different multiple times over but I wouldn’t change it for the world now.

What is your earliest racing memory?
I have fond memories of the racecourse in the Phoenix Park as my grandad Christy trained there, but a day out with my dad to meet Aldaniti and Bob Champion at Gowran Park is a special memory for me and I still have the picture.

What’s the best bet you’ve ever had?
I don’t bet often as I worked out at a young age that I hate losing money more than I enjoy winning it. My best bet came at just six years of age when I put £20 on Mr Frisk to win the Grand National simply because he was number six on the card. I've been a fan of Marcus Armytage ever since.
