'The race has his name written all over it' - Nick Scholfield joins the panel
Robbie Power, Sandy Thomson and Christian Williams also give their views
Which of the weekend’s winners do you see making a splash next season?
Ryan McCue, Paddy Power It’ll be interesting to see how far Fairyhouse bumper winner Party Central can go. She has won two of her four starts and showed a good turn of foot on better ground, suggesting that may be what she wants to be seen at her best. I’d imagine she’ll go down the mares’ novice route and may reach the top of that division.
Robbie Power, jockey Ashdale Bob. I won the Grade 2 on him at Fairyhouse on Sunday and watching him walk around the parade ring beforehand I couldn’t believe how much he had grown. He’s going to make a smashing novice chaser next season, mark my words!
Nick Scholfield, jockey Five Star Getaway is a horse I’ve won on in the past and he looked good again at Haydock on Saturday. He’s obviously going to go up in the handicap but he’s got room for improvement and he could be the type next season for some of those decent handicap chases at the start of autumn.
