The key questions as the 2018 Irish Flat season lifts off

Hard as it may be to believe, this year will mark the tenth anniversary of Sea The Stars’ first racecourse appearance.

John Oxx’s brilliant colt first graced the track under Mick Kinane at the Curragh on July 13, 2008, before going on to chisel his place among the equine immortals during that unforgettably bold and flawless campaign as a three-year-old.

Even for a partnership so accustomed to success in the highest echelon as Oxx and Kinane, Sea The Stars was the horse of a lifetime.
