The start was interesting as Mishriff obviously missed it a long way. When you watch it back he dropped his head, which horses have to do to propel themselves forward.

He did that but his legs just didn’t move. Sometimes horses lean on the sides in the stalls but he looked dead straight and reacted to the gates opening, so it was a strange one.

They looked to go a solid gallop from the off and Frankie Dettori was very aware he wanted to get cover but, as soon as he took back, Emily Upjohn became very keen.
