The Senet Group, the responsible gambling body set up by bookmakers which was behind the 'When The Fun Stops, Stop' campaign, will this week hand over its assets and responsibilities to the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC).

Established in September 2014 by William Hill, Ladbrokes, Coral and Paddy Power in response to the increasing public concern over gambling, the Senet Group went on to expand its membership to include other retail and online operators.

In April 2019 the Senet Group began a cross-industry project to develop a programme of industry reform, with the result being the package of 'Safer Gambling Commitments' announced by the BGC in November.
