The week following the Irish Derby can often be a quality-free zone, but there were one or two that stood out last week, and with the form of Harry Rogers' horses starting to upswing, his juvenile in this contest was one of the standout eyecatchers of the week.
This colt by one of the sires of the season, Fast Company, was slowly out of the stalls, raced off the pace most of the way, and could hardly have run any greener or appeared more at sea on this quirky track.
