Stormy Antarctic starting off on a new path at the age of nine on Champions Day

I hope conditions will allow to break new ground on Champions Day at Ascot this weekend.

The going is good to soft as I write and there is due to be a bit of rain later in the week so that should be fine.

He's been a wonderful horse for us and has twice run well in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at this meeting, finishing sixth in 2016 and fourth two years later, when he started at 40-1 and was beaten only a length and a half behind Roaring Lion.
