Cool Robin
Trainer: Danny Howard
6th, 2m maiden hurdle, Clonmel, February 16
Made his debut in a maiden hurdle which was not the best of all time, but this gelding showed enough to suggest that there are races to be won with him in due course, even if he is a long-term project.

Held up initially, he made some nice progress to be on the heels of the leaders as they descended to the straight, but ultimately weakened from the second last. However, he still managed to beat more than half the field.

He certainly showed that he had ability and what he might be able to achieve on better ground will be interesting to see. He is likely to be seen to better effect when getting a handicap mark but he is certainly interesting.
