Saeed Bin Suroor is Godolphin's longest-serving trainer and next year he will have spent a quarter of a century as a vital part of Sheikh Mohammed's global entity.

Bin Suroor has won four British trainers' championships and is not long back from his winter base in Dubai, where he was leading trainer at the Carnival at Meydan for a remarkable eighth time.

Along with success for the Dubai team, there has been a flow of winners from Bin Suroor's summer home at the former Stanley House Stables in Newmarket with many promising three-year-olds emerging from winter quarters to score at the first time of asking.
