There can be few trainers either side of the Irish Sea whose stock has risen quite like Peter Fahey's has in the past 12 months.

A breakthrough Cheltenham festival success was achieved when Belfast Banter cut through the County Hurdle field under stable jockey Kevin Sexton.

Less than a month later, the pair provided Fahey his first Grade 1 success when bolting up in the two-mile novice hurdle at Aintree.
