'He's got the lot - I've only seen two other horses do what he did'

10g Mahler - Acoola
John P McManus
11P/091-
RPR 157c OR 153c
He wasn't easy to train as a youngster but has improved with age and won January's Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster, which was his prep for the National. I hope we can have a really good go at Aintree this time. I looked forward to watching the virtual Grand National in the spring, which I thought he was sure to win having starred in one of the most renowned trials. But, would you believe it, he refused, and that to me was about the biggest insult in the whole of last season!

8g Stowaway - Such A Set Up
A D Spence
2/4P231-
RPR 152c OR 145c
He's hard to place and is high enough in the handicap but he probably prefers small fields. He won an all-weather bumper at Newcastle in February, but racing ended before we could see if it got his confidence back.

5g Canford Cliffs - Allegrina
Steve & Jolene De'Lemos
340/0-
RPR 99b
He had a few bumper runs and has thrived over the summer, so I hope he can make a name for himself over hurdles.
