'He has the look of a real chaser and could be one for the National Hunt Chase'

I don't think we've seen the best of him over fences. He showed a lot on his first run for us over hurdles at Clonmel before disappointing, and things didn't quite go his way last season over fences. He's matured a lot over the summer and seems to have improved for his break.

He can compete in any of those nice weekend handicaps over a trip, as he showed at last season's Dublin Racing Festival over three miles. While not the biggest or necessarily a future chaser, he's a good dual-purpose horse. There’s another big handicap in him over hurdles and one on the Flat too, I hope. He ran well when fourth in the November Handicap at Naas on Sunday.

He ran a cracker when second in the Ascot Stakes before winning a novice hurdle at Galway and disappointing in the Cesarewitch. He'll go back hurdling now. I still think he's only really learning how to settle and race properly now over hurdles. Once he does that, he'll be able to go up in grade.
