Britain's most prolific trainer might have fallen just two winners short of that figure last year but in recent times it has become the ambitious target for his 200-strong team.

Replicating 2015 when Fahey equalled Richard Hannon snr's record of 235 domestic victories in a calendar year was always going to be tough, but it was another stellar season as the trainer added a fourth Group 1 to his bulging CV and surpassed £3 million in prize-money for the second time.
