Century goal for Lambourn ace aiming to knock it out of the park
Charlie Hills is fond of the odd game of cricket, especially if he's lining up alongside his fellow Lambourn trainers against their Newmarket rivals, and has his sights set on a maiden century for his Faringdon Place yard this term.
After taking control from his successful father Barry in 2011, Hills has notched solid half-century scores of 68, 68, 71 and 76 last year when he was getting to grips with a new Polytrack gallop paid for by the exploits of his 2015 champion sprinter Muhaarar.
While Muhaarar was retired to stud after that campaign, Hills is likely to remain a force in top-class sprints thanks to Magical Memory and Cotai Glory, while Jallota and Dutch Connection should be effective at Group level in the mile division.
