Shoo-in Van Gerwen should pay for new trainers

Christmas has already been ruined for me because my best pair of shoes have just fallen apart. It is impossible to approach the yuletide in good cheer when you are enduring a footwear crisis.

I am fuming about my shambolic shoe situation and fear I may have been the victim of an elaborate prank. The shoes in question cost a pretty penny – Polo Ralph Lauren Hanford Canvas trainers – and I purchased them online a few months ago.

There is a POLO crest on the heel of these shoes. Or, to be more accurate, there was. Sadly for me, and comically in the eyes of everyone else, the letter L has fallen off both shoes. Yes, that's right – I have been walking around in PO O shoes.
