'She's in brilliant order' - smart filly primed for French raid

I've had runners in Ascot's Shergar Cup before but nothing stood out for us this year, so we won't have anything. It's great prize-money, but things didn't fit and some horses need certain riders, so you don't want to run the risk of getting a jockey who doesn't know the horse.

That means the pick of our team this week is probably Tenaya Canyon, who heads to Deauville for Sunday's Prix du Cercle.

She's in brilliant order, wasn't beaten far in a decent Group 3 at York last month and five furlongs at Deauville will be right up her street. I'd love to see her land the Listed race she deserves.
