Which 'future Grade 1 winner' impressed our handicapper this weekend?
The best of the action in Britain at the weekend came from Warwick, most notably in the Edward Courage Cup Handicap Chase, Hampton Novices' Chase and Classic Handicap Chase. These were won by Haddex Des Obeaux (154) Galia Des Liteaux (153) and Iwilldoit (160) respectively.
Haddex Des Obeaux is progressing well over fences and put in a good front-running performance, achieving a career best in winning.
Iwilldoit won well too and is also a progressive chaser. This was a very good training performance from Sam Thomas, with it being the ten-year-old's first start for 383 days. He is a high-class staying chaser and also achieved a career best here.
