The trainer lists his five favourite combat sport fights

I grew up watching boxing and particularly enjoyed the heavyweight era of the 1990s, so I’m delighted to see the recent renaissance of the division.

For me, the modern spectacles are not quite as exciting as the fights that defined my youth, but it’s great to see some top-quality young talent coming through.

My love of boxing led me to explore other combat sports, with my interest in mixed martial arts taking shape in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
