New Agenda
Trainer: Paul Webber
2nd, Kempton, October 16

With a best Flat RPR of 81, the four-year-old evidently has a decent engine and this was an encouraging start to his hurdling career. Although no match for Paul Nicholls’ smart prospect Black Corton in the closing stages, New Agenda travelled strongly into the home straight and, despite mistakes at the last two hurdles, was a clear second. This was his first run since May, so he should be sharper next time.
