Combining high-stake gambling with the raising of low-age children is a challenge which may provide too much of a long-term burden on a short-tempered human brain.
I suppose low-age children eventually turn into high-age children and, in theory, require less support. I would like to think my three-year-old daughter will not cry as much when she is 30, but I guess there are no guarantees.
As things stand, though, my punting plays out to the soundtrack of a young lady who is noisily and emotionally finding her feet in the world. A bad day for both of us can leave steam, quite literally, coming out of my ears. Fried brain is often on the menu – Hannibal Lecter would love coming around to our house for tea.
