Racing To School reached a significant milestone when hosting its 15,000th student of the year at the latest event at Sandown on Friday.

The charity, which delivers racing-related education programmes, welcomed Year 7 pupils from nearby Esher High School to Sandown for a maths activity day.

Just a few years ago Racing To School was catering for 10,000 young people and chief executive John Blake said: "What is perhaps most pleasing about the charity's growth is that this has been achieved without any drop in quality, as evidenced in our feedback.
