Racehorse Owners Association recognises 21 courses with gold standard award

The Racehorse Owners Association has rewarded the performance of 21 racecourses by giving them the 2019 gold standard award.

The award, which started in 2006, recognises tracks that provide an excellent experience for owners. Ten large courses and 11 small courses received the award for 2019.

Charlie Liverton, ROA chief executive and chairman of the ROA raceday committee, said: "We offer our congratulations to those courses receiving the gold standard award this year.
