Her season so far Ruth Jefferson took over the reins at her family’s yard in Malton last February and, despite an early blow when several horses were removed from her stable, she has made an impressive impact in her first full season.
It’s early days but Jefferson is proving adept when it comes to placing her horses and it is hard to quibble at her overall 22 per cent strike-rate and huge level-stake profit.
