There is every chance this colt will be a slow-burner and may not win until getting a handicap mark, but one could not ignore the glimmer of promise he showed in quite a rough race.

He was left badly at the start and was trailing for most of the race, raced quite green through the first half of the race too. From that point, rider Gary Carroll educated him and he came home to reasonable effect.
