Potentially super Sunday turns slightly sour as Spaniard splutters

During last week's Mexico Championship coverage on Sky I got a real wake-up call and a timely dose of perspective about my various ailments.

Sky's studio guest was Joe Miller, the World Long Drive champion. That does not mean he won an award for having the longest driveway in the world - I expect somebody called Cuthbert who owns a stately home in Berkshire has got that honour. No, Miller is a world-beater for hitting a golf ball 439 yards.

Well, Miller was chatting golf with the presenter. It was one of the most boring exchanges I have ever heard, but Miller suddenly delivered a shocking revelation to which everyone had to sit up and take notice. The burly Londoner said: "Matsuyama started this year literally on fire."
