Pinfold and Pitt to host racing authors evening in Warrington

Respected racing writers John Pinfold and Chris Pitt will co-host a racing authors evening at The Tetley Club in Warrington on October 17 in an event organised by North & Midlands Racing Club.

Pinfold has written a number of books on racing, including various publications on Aintree racecourse and the Grand National. He is currently working on a project about Haydock Park.

Pitt's works include A Long Time Gone, a book chronicling the history of more than 90 racecourses to have closed in Britain in the 20th century, and this year his work about the 300-year history of Worcester racecourse was published.
