Australia required only two days to see off South Africa in the first Test between the sides, making the most of a green Gabba pitch to bowl out the Proteas for 152 and 99.
Nineteen wickets fell on the second day in Brisbane, making it the first two-day Test in Australia in 91 years. And while Travis Head was named player of the match for his knock of 92, it was the Australian bowlers who set the tone, with captain Pat Cummins the pick of the pacemen and spinner Nathan Lyon also causing problems.
