When you look back on Orion's Might’s fall two-out at Wexford on July 25, 2014, you’d be forgiven for fearing that it could have been Ger Fox’s Sliding Doors moment.

First, Orion's Might might have won. Then Dedoctorsdaughter did win, but by then Fox was incapacitated, having suffered a broken collarbone when he hit the dirt an hour earlier.

It got worse – much worse. Five days later, Fox’s intended Galway Plate mount Road To Riches routed a high-class field with one of the most complete performances seen in a premier handicap chase in recent times.
