What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
That’s easy – remember that, whatever you think, your dad is right.

What is your earliest racing memory?
Probably Strong Flow winning the 2003 Hennessy Gold Cup. My dad took me to Newbury that day and had to buy me another jumper as I was freezing, but it was amazing to watch Paul [Nicholls] and Ruby [Walsh] win a massive race like that.

Which horse are you most looking forward to seeing run over Christmas?
Politologue in the King George. I'm lucky enough to ride him every day at home.
