Mullins may have unearthed a gem in promising Red Livy
Presidential
Trainer: Kevin Prendergast
6th, 6f two-year-old maiden, Leopardstown, July 14
A Classic-winning trainer he may be this season after a lengthy gap, but Kevin Prendergast still awaits his first juvenile success of the season from admittedly a handful of runners.
This Invincible Spirit colt may well have a race in him before the end of the season. He travelled well for a long way in this Leopardstown event, was unable to really pick up when asked for an effort in the straight, but wasn't knocked about that much and kept on to pretty good effect.
He has the potential to improve a good deal and should be worth following closely. Entries in the Phoenix Stakes and the National Stakes suggest the same.
