This gelding by Tikkanen showed promise in a Punchestown bumper last April and, although that has not really been fulfilled this season, there were more encouraging signs at Thurles.

Settled in mid-division on his hurdling debut, he never really landed a blow but stayed on for pressure after the second-last to be beaten 15 lengths. He should be able to improve on that over hurdles and it is likely he doesn't want the ground as deep as it was at Thurles.
