Meet the horse guru who prepares jumps stars for winter action

As the jumps season starts to gather momentum with many top-class horses making their seasonal reappearances, there is plenty going on behind the scenes as these supreme athletes are fine-tuned.

Jumping doesn’t come naturally to all horses and there are few better at teaching it than Olympic gold medal-winning eventer Laura Collett.

After taking gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Collett has had her most successful eventing season this campaign, winning the hugely prestigious Badminton Horse Trials five-star event aboard her beloved London 52.
