This was the year in which racing, like everything else, was dominated by Covid-19.

In a parallel universe, one in which the virus did not strike, most of the same horses won most of the same races as in the actual universe, although there were bigger racecourse attendances and, seemingly, quite a bit of well-intentioned leg-pulling.

Here's a flavour of how 2020 might have looked. It's entirely possible all given forecasts would have been proved entirely wrong.
