I'll start with Gold Cup runner-upA Plus Tard, who remains unexposed over three miles. He's only seven and it would be no surprise to see him go one better next spring.

He also looks set to play a leading role in the Betfair Chase, Savills Chase and Irish Gold Cup.

Appreciate Itcleaned up in novice hurdles last season and could well do likewise over fences this winter. Willie Mullins has won four of the last seven Arkle Chases and that is the probable target, with the Racing Post Novices’ Chase also likely to be on his agenda.

Bob Olinger is one of the hottest properties in National Hunt racing and looks a Gold Cup horse in the making.

He made Grade 1 winners Gaillard Du Mesnil and Bravemansgame look ordinary at Cheltenham and it will be a surprise if he doesn’t rack up a sequence in novice chases.

It's impossible to leave out Honeysuckle, who has won all 13 starts, and the biggest threat to her Champion Hurdle crown may come from Echoes In Rain, who will take some stopping in the Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown this weekend.

Mullins faces the tricky task of keeping Chacun Pour Soi andEnergumeneapart and I prefer the latter, who is only seven. He'll be a tough nut to crack in the top 2m chases.

Enrilo could give Paul Nicholls his fourth win in the Ladbrokes Trophy and may well develop into a Grand National contender.

Galopin Des Champscame good in the spring and progressed markedly once upped in distance. Given his physique, he is expected to excel over fences this time around.

Gold Cup winner Minella Indo ran creditably on his reappearance at Down Royal and is a possible for the King George. The Irish Gold Cup, a bonus race, will almost certainly be on his programme too.

Shishkin has an almost blemish-free record over jumps and has won twice at the festival. He'll start in the Tingle Creek, another bonus race.
