Tingle Creek
My favourite childhood memory is of Tingle Creek jumping the Railway Fences at Sandown and it will always be engraved on my memory. I watched him on the television, completely in awe of what he did, and he definitely strengthened my appetite for the racing game at a very tender age.

Sacred Path
He won seven races, was a brilliant ride and a marvellous jumper, and apart from falling at the first as favourite when I rode him in the 1988 Grand National, we shared many more good times than bad and the owners gave him to me when his career was over. He's no longer around, but he had a happy retirement at home with us.

Beacon Lodge
Obviously we have some real top horses in the yard at the moment, like Profitable and My Dream Boat, but this one was my first Group winner, landing the Horris Hill at Newbury in 2007 - a success that meant a huge amount to me in the early part of my career. He was great fun to deal with and had a wonderful approach to life, which made everything he did for us all the more enjoyable.
