Western Daily Press Novices' Chase, Newbury 2004

I bought him in June 2004 and this was his first run for us and it was such a thrilling win. We knew he was special so it wasn't completely unexpected but he was up against good horses - Foreman was joint favourite - and absolutely stormed in, jumping perfectly. It was a very exciting first win. I'd found the horse I'd been looking for all my life.
