The usual Ballybrit buzz might be missing, but there is still some superb action over the seven days of the Galway festival.
The Tote Galway Plate takes centre stage on Wednesday and the Guinness Galway Hurdle is the feature race on Thursday. We have asked Ireland's leading trainers to nominate some of their best chances for one of the most important weeks of the whole year.

He has a few options and could run in the Connacht Hotel Handicap on Monday. He returned at Tipperary after a long layoff the other day and seems to have improved plenty for the blowout. He also has the option of the 2m7f handicap hurdle later in the week. Wherever he does show up, you can expect a big run from him.
