Jack of all trades who has mastered them all - with help from Google
He is a familiar face to viewers of ATR's Irish coverage, but Kevin O'Ryan wears several other hats in Irish racing. With him it's a case of where to start – O'Ryan the jockeys' agent, the TV presenter, the breaker and pre-trainer of horses, the parade ring host, Goffs agent, former rider, confirmed member of the DK Weld fan club.
We caught up at Naas after another hectic day as the Galway festival approaches.
Tony O'Hehir Are you looking forward to Galway?
Kevin O'Ryan I always do. It will be a busy week for me, working three days for ATR and looking after my jockeys. I have 15 Flat jockeys on my books plus two jump jockeys – Davy Russell and Bryan Cooper. I used only to look after the Flat boys but have taken on Bryan and Davy after they both approached me.
