Steve is my all-time favourite Southampton player. He was the best passer of a ball I've ever seen at the club but he also had an aggressive streak that made him the perfect central midfielder. I remember having posters of him all over my wall from Match magazine and was absolutely heartbroken when he moved to Arsenal. He played for England and should have got more caps than he did.
