The last time trainer Mouse Morris made the short hop over the Irish Sea to Liverpool he came back to a hero's welcome.

People lined the streets to greet the trainer during April's homecoming of Rule The World, the remarkable £1 million Grand National winner whose sole victory in 13 attempts over fences came in the greatest chase of all.

Not that Morris remembers much of that day, the day before or many days afterwards as he was swept up in a whirlwind of euphoria and raw emotion.
