What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Work hard and be humble. That’s the attitude I take to life.

What is your earliest racing memory?
Watching my brother David riding in races. He rode for Paul Cole a few years ago and then went back to Ireland.

This has been your best season for a few years. What do you put that down to?
I never took my foot off the gas. I made the move to Newmarket and I think the change of scenery has given me a lot more opportunities. Being with Mr Gosden helps a lot as I’m getting the chance to ride good horses on and off the track. A lot of it is down to confidence as once you start riding winners that’s all you want to keep doing and that’s what you believe you can keep doing.
