What did you make of the King George?
Oliver Greenall, trainer Bryony [Frost] gave Frodon a fantastic ride. She seemed to go quick over the first and then really slowed the pace, which didn’t suit plenty of the fancied horses, especially Santini, who couldn’t go with them coming out of the back. Some of the other fancied horses definitely underperformed, but you can’t take it away from Frodon.
Padraig Hassett, BoyleSports The race promised a lot but for me didn’t deliver. The front end of the market all ran well below their best and Frodon picked up the pieces. It’s hard to see any of these featuring come March. The Savills Chase looks the real Gold Cup trial.
Emma Lavelle, trainer Bryony rode an excellent race to set it up for herself and Frodon – it certainly created the feelgood factor. Waiting Patiently ran a stormer and he definitely looks like he'll stay. It was a great training performance to have him ready after so much time off.
