Former champion jockey Declan McDonogh gives his top five Irish rugby moments . . .

Ireland v Australia, Rugby World Cup quarter-final, Lansdowne Road, 1991
This was the first game I ever attended at Lansdowne Road, I was aged 11. We were brought there by Mark O'Connor, a man who had some good horses in training with the late Dessie Hughes. It was a memorable game, Ireland went ahead in the last few minutes when Gordon Hamilton scored a try in the corner, but we were undone when the Australians went down the other end and Michael Lynagh scored the winning try for them to win 19-18. It was a great game and a great day, I managed to get the autographs of the two Australian greats David Campese and Tim Horan!

Ireland v New Zealand, Aviva Stadium, 2018
It's fantastic to see the way the Ireland team has become one of the best in the world under Joe Schmidt and have become genuine contenders to win the 2019 World Cup. I thought this performance against the All Blacks was just about the best I have seen. We won 16-9 but I thought we were value for much more than that and it was just the complete team performance. I think a lot of people are licking their lips looking forward to next year.
