'He's the best we've seen' - which two-year-old is Paul Mulrennan talking about?

Riders Charlie Bishop, Mark Enright and Coral's James Knight share their views

Is Trueshan the best stayer around now?

Charlie Bishop, jockey On soft ground I think he is. It blunts Stradivarius's turn of foot and he's his main rival. I can't see him getting beaten on Champions Day if the ground is easier than good. He'll be hard to beat in the staying division on easy ground.

Mark Enright, jockey You couldn't help but be impressed by how he did it in the Cadran, and I think I would subscribe to that way of thinking given the substance of what he achieved. He's obviously soft-ground dependent, but he showed how good he is on Saturday when he gets his favoured conditions.

James Knight, Coral He is the best of the horses who actually run in staying races, but there are probably a few classy middle-distance types who could beat him if they turned up. Japan beat him earlier in the season, for example, so imagine what the likes of Hurricane Lane and Adayar could do.
