'He's not badly treated and he's back in good order' - Carjac is ready for Cup

I'm delighted my column returns at just the right time as my horses are in cracking form and I'm looking forward to running Deyrann De Carjac in the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday.

He'll be my first runner in the race since Annacotty, who won it in 2015, and could run really well.

His preparation has been great and he seems to have put behind him the niggles that hindered him last season. He schooled on Monday and seems in good order. He's a good-ground horse and looks likely to get his conditions at Cheltenham, albeit in a hugely competitive race.
