bet365's Pat Cooney and Alistair Rawlinson also deliver their verdicts
Did any of the fillies in the Lingfield Oaks Trial impress you with Epsom in mind?
Jockey Charles Bishop I’m not sure about the depth of the Oaks Trial with favourite Flattering looking uneasy on the track and ground, but Perfect Clarity did it well. She would have to up her game to beat the likes of Lah Ti Dar at Epsom though.
bet365 odds compiler Pat Cooney I’m sure Perfect Clarity and Cecchini will have a good season, but neither has done enough yet to be considered an Oaks winner. There are several ahead of the pair in the betting with proven Group 1 form in the book, as well as the current favourite Lah Ti Dar, who is unbeaten in both her races, although she may prefer some ease in the ground on the big day.
Trainer Harry Dunlop Clive Cox’s Perfect Clarity is obviously very good and we wish her well, but I would be a bit surprised if she was up to beating the best of Aidan O’Brien’s contingent, or John Gosden’s Pretty Polly winner Lah Ti Dar.
